![]() ![]() I was asked to send over all documentation ( in paper form) to the address they provided in which I did, certified, and was given proof of delivery by the post office. I emailed the assumption team in the beginning of March 2023 to get the process started and complied with all requests for information including the court ordered divorce decree. I was in the process of divorce and in need of assuming my already pre-existing loan with Freedom Mortgage. I've had this mortgage since 2019 and its been transferred three times. I'll start off by saying that Freedom Mortgage purchased my already pre-existing loan from a different loan servicer. Unebelivable! Appalling! TERRIBLE service!!! She had no idea where to send it and never asked, so the letter was in delay going to be generated to a ghost. I finally had to tell them to send it to veteran's united. NONE of the representatives ASKED me where to send the letter that is going to be generated by the non-existent supervisor. Unbelievable! Most companies can generate a letter on the spot ESPECIALLY if you are in good standing. The 3rd time I called the representative said there is NO supervisor she could transfer me to and that it takes ***** hours to generate a letter from a supervisor that doesn't exist since they don't have one. 1) The first 2 times I called I was hung up on by the representatives. I tried calling today to get the letter in good standing. Freedom Mortgage took over a couple of months ago and now I am red across the board. When I was with Veterans United I was green across the board, on time with my payments and not late. I called today to get a letter of good standing (Veterans United asked me to do this) because Freedom mortgage is reporting on my credit report that I have been late and missed payments. ![]() I do not appreciate the lack of customer care I do not appreciate feeling like we do not matter to FMC I do not appreciate the lack of communication at FMC and I do not appreciate being consistently lied to by FMC. At this point, I was told by ****** ID# **** that the target date of the packet was July 28th, 2023. to find out the status of the delivery of the packet I needed to fill out for them. ![]() I called Freedom Mortgage Company on July 17th, 2023, at 11:52 a.m. My realtor and myself spoke with ********* ID# ****, went over the application process over the phone, and ********* from Freedom Mortgage Company informed us that the packet will be mailed and delivered either on July 15th, 2023, or no later than July 17th, 2023. So we rescheduled again, and they still missed the agreed-upon ************* to call, but I was able to finally get a call from the assumption loan department for Freedom Mortgage Company. I finally got them to call and set up an agreed-upon ************* to discuss everything with the assumption loan department of Freedom Mortgage Company, only to have them fail to call at the agreed-upon time. A second time, Freedom Mortgage Company failed to start their part of the process. So then the close-out date was moved to the end of June 2023. Now, we were originally supposed to close on June 16, 2023, but that failed to happen because Freedom Mortgage Company did not start their part of the process.
